Puzzle Sponsor

In hopes to raise some money to bring Miles home, we have decided on a meaningful tactic that will forever be a reminder in our home.

We're selling puzzle pieces! Random, right? Well, here's the scoop on how it will work. We bought the below pictured puzzle. It's of an elephant and a baby elephant, symbolic in quite a few ways. For whatever reason, since starting this process back in February/March, every time I've seen an elephant I think of Ethiopia, and our sweet Miles. Here it's symbolic to us as our precious Miles and our great God. An elephant pregnancy is about 22-24 months, which ironically mirrors an average Ethiopian adoption, and our prayer is that the Lord protects him during this time in mighty, miraculous, and outstanding ways...somewhat as shown pictured.

The puzzle pieces are $50 a piece. And since it's a 500 piece puzzle, that would equate to (drumroll please) $25,000! The total adoption will be somewhere between $30-$35k. I don't know many people that can donate $25,000, but I do know quite a few that could set aside $50...and that's how we're going about it! Per each purchased piece, we're going to write the name of the sponsor on the back of that piece. At the end of the funding, we're going to have a big puzzle making party and put the completed puzzle in a floating frame (glass on both sides of the puzzle) so that we can forever be reminded of all of the people that helped us bring Miles home. And we're going to hang this in his nursery.
